A Simple Recipe For Cassava Bread

One of the best desserts known to mankind is none other than cassava bread because it has a very unique and sweet taste and will slowly melt in the mouth. In contrast to what many people believe, it is actually very easy to make this dish. This simple recipe will teach people how to be able to make this dessert without even breaking a small sweat.

The whole process is actually very simple because it is just mixing ingredients in a big bowl and then cook it right away. The only difficult part would probably be getting all the ingredients together because there are a lot to get. Of course if all of the ingredients have already been gathered, then the rest can be done easily in just a few minutes.

For the ingredients, one will be needing some cassava as the base, a small carton of milk, just one egg, a little bit of oil, two tablespoons of flour, some baking powder, and lastly, lime juice. Now for the milk, take out the carton and put one third of it inside a small cup. Always make sure to just use probably a spoon of each of the ingredients so that not too much will be used.

The first thing to do here would be to simply grab a large bowl and start adding all of the ingredients together. Start with the cassava, the flour, the baking soda, and the sugar. After that, add the egg milk, the oil and the lime juice and start stirring the mix in order to make a very nice and thick batter.

When that is done, take a frying pan and heat it up with some oil on the stove. One must definitely make sure that the oil does not stick to the pan otherwise the oil will become burned which will ruin the pan. When the oil has mixed with the pan, then put in all of the batter and wait for it to form.

Now in this stage, all one has to do is to wait for the batter to form. Always make sure that the stove is on moderate heat only because high heat will burn it and low heat will not produce anything. After that, the batter should be heated up in the pan for probably five to ten minutes until it is ready.

When the ten minutes are already done, then the bread should already be fully formed. Now before serving it, always make sure that it is cooled down because when it is still hot, then it is not yet hard enough to eat. If one would want, he can actually serve it with some grated coconut if he would want some extra flavor.

So for those who like to eat cassava bread, then this recipe is really easy and good. In fact, even a person with no background in cooking or baking may even make this without any hard work. Because of the great taste and texture, it is definitely a good thing to make for dessert.
